Prehistoric Future: Park Pains

Mendel: Alright, make sure you catch this, Opal! *throws Frisbee, which lands in a thorny bush*

Opal: OKAY! *Runs after it. Reaches in and retrieves it from the thorn bush. Notices she cut her left arm, and stares at it with an unphased expression* Huh.

Mendel: Oh no, I'm sorry! *Runs over and immediately goes into his overprotective state of mind, examining Opal's arm* I shouldn't have thrown it that far, poor thing! Let me see! Hmm..you can still move it...no broken bones or severe tissue damage. The cuts aren't too deep...and the skin's only red from irritation. Thank goodness, this cut is nothing a good spray of disinfectant and bandages can't fix! You'll be just fine, Opal. 


Side note: Opal doesn't react to minor injuries or pain much. She's used to getting scrapes and cuts while living in her original time period. Besides, she knows there are worse injuries she could suffer as she's seen happen to other living things back in her own time.
